Mrs. Colonel John Patterson

Colonel Patterson is noted for his killing of 
two man-eating lions on the dark continent 
while he was building a railroad. 
Mrs. Patterson was so taken with big game
hunting that she now travels through time and
dimension seeking ever greater prizes. 
Her weapon is a construction of Prof. Shaw's 
and he accompanies her on her expeditions to 
both keep the weapon in working order, and
conduct his investigations which almost seem 
to pursue him through time.
