the Crew of the Sartoraeus
Captain Lukas

|
Inventor of the Crystalline Hyperdirectional Chronometer. Specialist in Crystallography and Levitational Metallurgy, Prof. Lawkin devotes most of his time to private research. He funds his excursions with the controlled release of certain inventions that he feels won't upset the balance of the public too much. The Sartoraeous works as a test bed for many of his unique inventions, to the unfortunate (but moderate) peril of several of his passengers when things don't work exactly as planned. Currently, he's taken to ferrying passengers from point A to point B (he's often not concerned with the specifics) for the opportunity to test his new Crystalline Omni-refractor Motivator. Once activated, it should increase the power consumption efficiency of the forward motivation of the Sartoraeous over 87.3%, that is, if it doesn't cause the stern superstructure to evaporate instantaneously. Prof. Lawkin is sure that won't happen, however. Pretty sure. Mostly. |
