year's Costume-Con "meet & greet" soireé features
a theme guaranteed to make you break out into either laughter or
hives:
Stairway to Heaven,
Highway to Hell!
Enter
the ballroom and step back into time, whether it was decades
ago, or just last year, and join us for the Hoover High School
Prom!
As you may know,
the Hoover High Student Council came up with a dilly of a theme:
"Proms Through the Ages". This means you could
see all sorts of outfits being worn. See if you can pick
out those people you remember oh-too-well -- the jocks, the
cheerleaders, the preppies, the Audio-Visual guys, the gym
teachers, the vice-principal, the shop teacher, and so on.
The student
Council has everything covered -- the cheesy decorations, really
awful music you spent good money on therapy to forget, prom
photos, and, the climax of the evening, the selection of the
Prom King and Queen and their court.
So whether
you have a date, or you're going "stag", don't
miss this big blow-out by the folks of Hoover High (also known
as "Hooter High"), home of theFfighting Horned Owls
